We strive to amplify the voices of ordinary citizens, advocating for policies that enhance government transparency, promote ethical governance, and ensure that public officials are held accountable to the people they serve. Through education, activism, and collaboration, we aim to create a political landscape where integrity and public trust are paramount.

We are committed to advocating for policies that protect the rights and freedoms of all individuals, promote economic equity, and ensure a healthy and sustainable future for Edo State and Nigeria in general,through grassroots mobilization, strategic partnerships, and robust policy analysis, we aim to influence policy makers to make policies that benefits the people,hold public officials accountable, and empower communities to take an active role in shaping a just and equitable society. Our work is guided by a dedication to transparency, inclusivity, and the unwavering belief that together, we can create a better society for the benefit of all.
The Reason For Its Establishment
Progress Initiative was founded in March 2010. Progress Initiative was founded to be the voice of the voiceless. Its main objective is to create political awareness amongst the populace. The populace are meant to understand that the leaders they get has alot to do with their political awareness and involment. Politics should not be about self self-aggrandisement or crass materialism but about service to the people. the people has alot role to play because good governance is in the hands of the people. Because “A PEOPLE DESERVE THE LEADERS THEY GET”. Progress Initiative has over five thousand members across Edo State, these include Senatorial coordinators, Local government coordinators Ward coordinators and unit canversers. Progress Initiative also has members in other States including Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory. Progress Initiative also has Diaspora coordinators.
